Pep Privacy Policy
Effective August 17, 2026
Pep is an app from AudioLink LLC that lets musicians and engineers adjust a live mixing console by voice or text. This page explains what the app sends to us and what we do with it.
What we collect
- The name you enter when you activate the app. Your venue sees it so they know who asked for a change.
- A device identifier (Apple's identifier for vendor). We use it to keep your session and history straight.
- The requests you send, typed or spoken. The text of each request goes to AudioLink servers so the change can be made on your venue's console, and we keep logs so we can troubleshoot problems a venue reports.
What we do not collect
We never receive your audio. When you use voice mode, Apple's speech recognition on your phone turns speech into text and only the text reaches us. Pep has no ads, no third-party analytics, and no tracking of any kind. We do not sell or share your information.
Service providers
Two providers process data on our behalf, under their own agreements with us: Anthropic processes the text of requests to generate Pep's responses, and ElevenLabs turns Pep's text replies into spoken audio. Both receive text only, never your voice recording.
Retention and deletion
Request logs exist for troubleshooting and we keep them only as long as that purpose requires. Email us and we will delete the data tied to your name or device.
